The Jewish After School Accelerator requires additional philanthropic partners to bring Jewish after-school programs to communities across North America.

Following more than a decade of success in Atlanta, Jewish Kids Groups (JKG) set out to make Jewish after-school programs accessible to modern families across North America.

In 2023, Jewish Kids Groups was awarded a seed grant from The Marcus Foundation and early support from The Zalik Foundation to launch the Jewish After School Accelerator (JASA) to help Jewish organizations across North America launch their own Jewish after-school programs.

Since announcing the program, more than 100 synagogues, community centers, day schools, and federations from 45 U.S. and Canadian cities have applied to participate and 17 synagogues are operating thriving Jewish after-school programs with JKG’s support.

We are currently seeking additional philanthropic partners to bring Jewish after school to more communities.

Funders who would like to join the team that is making Jewish education accessible to modern families may contact Ana Robbins at ana@jewishkidsgroups.com.

The Jewish After School Accelerator (JASA) provides Jewish organizations with the tools, guidance, curriculum, and financial support they need to launch their own successful Jewish after-school programs.
