Five reasons you should apply to the Jewish After School Accelerator
Launching a new initiative takes vision, and the right support. If your Jewish organization is looking for a meaningful way to reach more families, deepen engagement, and strengthen your community, the Jewish After School Accelerator (JASA) is designed to help you do just that—with guidance, resources, and a proven track record of success.
This isn’t about adding more to your plate. It’s about making choices that lead to sustainable growth. JASA was built with your realities in mind: limited staffing, tight budgets, and high community expectations. We’re here to walk alongside you every step of the way.
Here are five reasons Jewish organizations like yours are saying yes to JASA and yes to growing their communities with Jewish after school.
You’ll attract new families and increase engagement
Through their new Jewish after-school programs, JASA participants are reaching families who were not previously involved in Jewish life. Participating organizations have a new entry point for families, a new way to deepen connection with families who want more Jewish impact, a new revenue stream, and more community visibility.
You won’t have to figure it out alone or start from scratch
From budgeting and curriculum to transportation and marketing, you’ll get expert guidance, templates, and one-on-one coaching every step of the way. And as a member of the fourth cohort, you’ll learn what worked and what didn’t from participants in cohorts one, two, and three.
You’ll expand your network and gain resources to enrich all of your organization’s programs
JASA participants learn alongside a community of peers who are building the future of Jewish education. You’ll gain ideas, perspectives, and connections that will benefit your organization’s new Jewish after school and so much more.
You’ll receive up to $100,000 in matching grants
In addition to the program guidance, templates, and curriculum you will receive, JASA provides financial support over three years to offset startup costs and help your organization achieve financial sustainability on earned revenue alone by the third year of operation.
You’ll build a resource your community needs
Today’s families are looking for convenient, meaningful, high-quality Jewish options that fit with their busy modern lives. Jewish after school infuses Jewish content into after-school childcare, an essential service families with young children already rely on, making it easy for families to prioritize Jewish education.
If your organization is looking for a powerful way to reach more families and make Jewish childhood education more accessible, now is the time to apply to the Jewish After School Accelerator (JASA).
